GoogleCodeExporter 1月前 18

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Call via csipsimple to landline phone in both cases UMTS or WLAN environment
2. Pick up landline phone
3. I hear the called person but the called person does not hear me

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version 0.04-01 r1841

Please provide any additional information below.
Use a Motorola Pro+ with Android 2.3.6

It could be either something with network vs configuration or with audio layer.
(the fact it happens on both utms and wlan make me think more about audio layer
but will be interesting to check).

To know if the sound actually goes from the micro to the application while you
are in call screen you can press the last option of the bottom black bar (media
settings).
A popup will open with micro / speaker activity indicators.
If when you talk you don't see the micro activity level bar moving, it's
probably something with the audio layer that the app doesn't correctly setup
for this device.
As all manufacturer interpret that their own way it's possible that workaround
option is sometimes needed. To use this workaround option available in
CSipSimple see :
http://code.google.com/p/csipsimple/wiki/FAQ?wl=en#Audio_routing_troubleshooting

If there is activity in the micro sound level bar but other side doesn't
receive anything it's probably more something with network/audio negotiation.
Usually the audio path between you and the remote side is more managed by
remote side (it's remote side that is supposed to announce where to reach
them). While the audio path between the remote side and you is managed by you.
But could also be something with codec negotiation. To be able to help in this
case I'll need logs from the app.
